Cryptocurrency hardware wallet provider Ledger has partnered with blockchain game The Sandbox to promote crypto education in the virtual world.
Ledger's chief experience officer, Ian Rogers, announced the news at the Non-Fungible Conference (NFC) today. Rogers stated that the new collaboration aims to bring security to the world of The Sandbox and provide Ledger with a place at The Sandbox where they can educate people about crypto.
Rogers thanked The Sandbox and Sebastien Borget, one of the founding partners of the company, for this opportunity, adding that Ledger will also provide special Ledger Nanos to SAND holders as part of the collaboration.
Rogers stated that the most important part of the collaboration is educating people about safety:
“The truth is, educated people become Ledger customers, so we want to make sure people are trained to stay safe and properly manage all these incredible rights and freedoms that self-hiding offers.”
